My name is Ann Ballard and I am a qualified Genealogist offering family history research in all areas of the UK, however mostly in Bath, Bristol, Wiltshire, Somerset and Gloucestershire.

I developed an interest with my own family history over 30 years ago, and since that time my experience has widened.  I obtained my professional qualifications with the IHGS (Institute of Heraldry and Genealogical Studies), graduating with the Higher Certificate in 2010, the Diploma in Genealogy in 2011, and the Licentiateship in 2017.   I became a Tutor in 2010 at the IHGS on both the Higher Certificate and later the Heraldry Courses.
